The Missions of San Antonio

Mission San Francisco de la Espada offers many touches that display everyday life in the mission when it was originally completed, including a well-preserved segment of the original irrigation system. A fire destroyed much of the complex in 1826, though the beautiful chapel and stone entrance archway remain.

Mission San Juan

Mission San Juan Capistrano was situated on fertile farmland that made it a leading supplier of produce within the area.
