uShaka Marine World: Originally opened in April 2004, this theme park (which houses the fifth largest aquarium in the world) covers 16 hectares. Five different sections comprise the park: uShaka Kids World, uShaka Village Walk, uShaka Beach, uShaka Wet ‘n Wild, and uShaka Sea World. When Durban Point was redeveloped, uShaka Marine World was the first installment. It is located between the harbor and beachfront, on a strip of land, and contains 17,500 cubic meters of water in 32 tanks.
